Our Mission

Financial Clarity, Without a Sales Agenda

SmartFinance Plan Network helps American households plan with confidence — through clear frameworks, transparent calculators, and an independently vetted advisor directory.

Why We Exist

Most Financial Content Sells Something. Ours Doesn't.

A large share of online financial guidance is written to sell a product — a specific brokerage, a specific insurance policy, a specific app. We built this network to keep planning separate from sales, so a household budgeting for the first time gets the same quality of information as someone modeling a retirement drawdown.

We don't manage assets, sell financial products, or take commissions on the calculators and articles published here. Our advisor directory is a discovery tool, not a referral-fee business.

How We Operate

Content & Methodology Standards

Editorial Principles

Articles are written to explain trade-offs, not push a single "correct" answer. We flag assumptions and cite where numbers come from.

Tool Methodology

Calculators use standard compound-interest and amortization formulas with a constant assumed rate — simplified estimates, not simulations of market volatility.

Advisor Vetting Approach

Listed advisors self-report credentials and experience. We ask that all listed advisors carry no unresolved regulatory disclosures at time of listing.

Transparency

We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage, higher advisor placement, or omission of risk disclosures.
